When updating from some canary versions of Android Studio, if the version of the Android Gradle Plugin used in a project comes from an old canary it can lead to unsolvable error messages. This occurs when the incompatibility between versions causes the first Gradle sync to fail, when this happens we can't offer the normal forced upgrade dialog.

These errors can be fixed by updating the version of the project to be in line with the version of Android Studio.

This should be made clean when updating Android Studio or opening a project using a older canary version.

Note that I kept the gradlew and gradle directory because it is suggested to keep those in the versioning system
