We currently don't support desugaring all java8 features. Currently we only support lambdas, try-with-resources (java7 I guess), and a handful of static Number methods (https://issuetracker.google.com/114711928).

For the usage of many java8 libraries, this is not sufficient, and they can't be used.
It is still unclear how much we want to support - opening this bug to get input on that.
