If I place TextInputEditText within TextInputLayout to a fragment which is paged inside ViewPager2 and set the gravity of this TextInputEditText to end (in my culture right) then whenever I focus this editor it causes the parent ViewPager2 to reset position to 0.

Here is a minimal example with two fragments and the EditText on the second one:
