+1 to this feature request, came here seeking help at https://serverfault.com/questions/987908/custom-routes-rejected-by-gke-peer-configuration/988167#988167
We will to build CD pipelines with agents running in internal on-premise network, peered with GCP network. GKE private endpoint is not reachable in this case.

I thought this would be resolved now that the VPC Peerings of private GKE will accept routes exported from the VPC. But it still doesn't seem to work for me.
Description
# It is OK to share your API Project ID, but _not_ API keys.
Feature Request
-----------------------
What would you like to see us add to this API?
It would be very useful to allow to have markers with more than one character in the Static Maps API. It would allow users to embed images to SSRS or PowerBI reports, as those technologies doesn´t allow to embed HTML iframes. PD: This is why using Google Maps Javascript API is not a solution. Currently there is no way to embed an iframe to SSRS or PowerBI reports
Issue report
----------------
What steps will reproduce the problem? Please provide a link to a
demonstration page if at all possible, or attach code.
1. Using a valid API key navigate to the following URL, it will work as expected
2. Now try to add a label with more than one character, it won't display anything according to the documentation
3. If Google removes the one character restriction for labels in Google Static Maps API, it would be used in lots of SSRS and PowerBI reports. Allowing labels up to 8 chars would be enough, maybe we can allow multi char labels only for small and tiny markers
