Every time I launch Android Studio (I use Jetbrains Toolbox), Gradle Sync fails with the following error message:

Cannot use connection to Gradle distribution 'https://services.gradle.org/distributions/gradle-7.6-all.zip' as it has been stopped.

Restarting the sync fixes the problem.

I notice the same issue and LogCat shows the following message:
Google Play services out of date. Requires 3159100 but found 3136130
