When the coordinates(24.439648,118.384895) is within Kinmen County. The api returned a ZERO_RESULTS. Kinmen County is only detectable when the coordinates(24.414328,118.502312) is at the sea nearby.

There is currently no support for disputed areas, such as Kinmen. ZERO_RESULTS is the intended behaviour.

This can also happen in areas that aren't disputed (as far as I'm aware), such as the border between Tokyo and Chiba prefectures in Japan. Example:

35.728398,139.909231

which is obviously in Chiba.

Still happens, had a venue in Kosovo that we needed to reverse geocode. 42.6629138,21.165502800000013
Entering this lat/long works just fine in Google Maps.

I'm getting this in a non-disputed territory: 53.437613,-1.498625 - Zero results, clearly in the United Kingdom. Yet these coordinates very nearby, 53.436360, -1.506350 work just fine.

This is the coordinate of my city where I live and this city is not disputed but even then you show it as disputed. Zero results show up for this. This city is very much a part of India. Solve this issue at the earliest.

should use region parameter for control the result, if region=IN, result is India, If region=CN, result should be China

Good news: Reverse Geocoding results are now available for locations in disputed territories.

Note: Geocoding API responses for locations in disputed territories will not include results or address components representing countries or any level of administrative areas.

I want to add the details for Kosovo country because whenever I select any specific city for example Pristina city but API returns only the co-ordinate but not other details like ISO, state name and country code etc. for Kosovo country, so how this issue is going to resolved.
