I see this as well, it happens when you run a build with the profiler enabled but then do not have the profiler running in studio. I'd love to see a fix before 3.0.0 is released!

This should be fixed in the next beta release.

Seems to still appear in beta 7 first time opening logcat. Will disappear and NOT reappear when starting and stopping profiler. Are then also gone after IDE restart.

Thanks for the info.
That's strange.. I can take a look again.
Can you double check those logs are not from a previous session?

Description
Android Studio 2.4 preview 6
Logcat keeps repeating
E: tcp_client_posix.c:173] failed to connect to 'ipv4:
while on other hand i didn't code for socket or webservice call what so ever.
Running Genymotion Nexus 5 -> OS 6.0
Tried Android Studio 2.3.1 which works fine
So i guess it's faulty in 2.4 P6
Let me know if you need project setup i will happy to share with you.
