GCP does include this version image, The problem is that I can build this image but not monitor it. Currently if I want to use a monitored LTS release of Ubuntu I need to use a two year old build.

Business-critical need to upgrade my micro VM before moving to production env., on GCP's 'Increase Perf.' recommendation. The need for detailed monitoring is severe at the moment, and I've already do-release-upgrade'd my Ubuntu to bionic.

Customer would like to have Stackdriver support for Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.
GCP does include this Ubuntu version image, but users cannot monitor it with Stackdriver.

The workaround for us was to use DataDog. The integration with GCP is impressive and the functionality is excellent, not sure we'll go back to Stackdriver.

Is there an estimate on when this will be implemented?

Come on, we need stackdriver on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS please!
Description
My project uses flavor dimensions (product, server) in app module and I also have local android library module that has the same flavor dimensions with the app module.
2 weeks ago, this configuration was working fine but now, It doens't work.
when I change the main module (app)'s buildVariant from the left side menu of IDE, it doensn't change the library module's buildVariant.
You can reproduce and see what I mean as cloning and building below sample project.
Thanks!
