I utilize an extension to more readily use Gmail under gSuite so the lack of an API for the snooze feature makes it less accessible to me during my day to day work.

Some extensions do this by hiding emails in a label then moving them back - but snooze would be much more elegant.

Hi everyone who may read this,
When you ⭐ this issue, it has the same effect (letting Google know it’s something users want) as adding “+1” and similar comments, which only serves to pollute the thread with useless information and to email everyone every time useless information is submitted. So try not to do that.
You probably won’t be able to spam Google into prioritizing this, but you’re sure to annoy your fellow users who have ⭐’d this. Please be considerate.

A short description of the request:
Now that Snooze is a core feature of Gmail, it should be exposed in the API.
What is the purpose of this new feature?
Every 3rd party client under the sun now implements a proprietary snooze feature, which is incompatible with the Gmail feature and therefore not consistently reflected in the UIs of each client or the web app.
It is also valuable for other automations to be able to leverage the native Gmail snooze functionality, and to list or change snoozed messages, rather than having to duplicate it.

How to vote for this issue: Click the little star icon next to the title.
How not to vote for this issue (and also how to make the comment area of this issue as useless as possible while simultaneously shooting useless notifications to several hundred people’s inboxes): add a comment that says “+1” or “please add this feature” or pretty much anything that has been added as a comment here.
tl;dr: Please do not add comments here unless you really know what you’re doing. Thanks.

To the previous Lars Trebing screaming at people for commenting. If emails are your beef with this you can change notification preference on a per issue basis from the top right by clicking on the bell icon.

I don't know why google seems to be reluctant to expose the time/date of its now native gmail feature to me it creates lots of extra duplication and unnecessary extra processing
- There are many coded workarounds some made before Goggle added the snooze capability
- Exposing the snoozed time and date would streamline many things for to-do and calendar apps
- avoids having many different google scripts designed to provide this feature using labels in gmail that is now just duplicating the native feature - it is rather frustrating to have to work around rather than just have access to the integrated feature
note to ppl who would like to "+1" please keep the spam
out of our mail by just using the STAR rather than adding another comment with just the +1
