While there is an option to sharing an image on a project with other projects through using a gcloud command per this document [1], currently there is no easy procedure to migrate a disk from one project to another. In fact, migrating a disk requires several steps that are susceptible to failure. For example, if I want to migrate a disk from Project A to Project B, I would have to utilize snapshots, generate an image, export it to Project B, and create a new instance in project B which often may have connectivity issues. Another option, is utilizing Linux CLI commands to copy the disk from an instance in project A to another instance in Project B.

It would be ideal to introduce a gcloud command in addition to a (clicky) way through the console to migrate a disk from one project to another without having to deal with importing or exporting images.
