Please add "port" or "seaport" to the list of supported_types for the places API as referenced here:

Re comment #2, most of the requested search types are now a supported search type in the new Places API.

The new API supports many other new types as search types, listed in Table A. This includes bus_station, taxi_stand, train_station, transit_station, airport and several more under Transportation.

Text Search (New) supports searching for a places matching a single includedType as well as a textual query.

Nearby Search (New) supports searching for places matching one or more includedTypes, or one or more includedPrimaryTypes, in a specific area.

Note: The new API does not yet support port, seaport or shipping_port. We would be grateful if you would let us know your use case/s for these types.

Adding FR 139429394# as marina would be a (more) specific type of port.
