The API has an option to join a shared album (/sharedAlbum:join), but there's no option to leave a shared album through the API.

Users can remove themselves from a shared album through the Google Photos app, but not through the API.

This feature requests tracks adding an endpoint that is the 'opposite' to the /sharedAlbum:join call to programmatically remove a user from an album that was shared by your application.
