Hello! Sorry to bring up this issue after almost a year but I wanted to add that we have chosen metric identifier as agent.googleapis.com/memory/percent_used but autoscaling didnt work out for us either. It would be appraciated if you can guide us.

The content of these logs makes perfect sense for usage outside of GCP, but ideally these log entries shouldn't appear.
It would be beneficial to disable these log entries for use scenarios outside of GCP either by introducing some kind of flag for the agent, or by implementing an internal environment check and disabling this for outside of GCP.
