It has been requested to have the option to chose between American and British English as target languages when using the Translation API. This would address the words which are spelled differently across both versions of English.

For instance, words ending with 'our' in British English mainly end with 'or' in American English. Below are a couple of examples

BRITISH --> AMERICAN:
Colour --> Color
Flavour --> Flavor
Humour --> Humor
Labour --> Labor

The Translation API engineering team have been made aware about the request of having such feature implemented. Kindly note that there are no guarantees or ETAs for this feature to be available.
