Yes please :) Along with a more specific definition of how the Popular Times are determined (how much history? done by mobile device activity? check ins?)

Making popular times available by day of the week would be awesome
wa...@google.com <wa...@google.com> #4
It already is Jeffrey, you can toggle by day on mobile or desktop

How is this not a high priority bug? This causes additional costs for paying customers of the Google Maps api.

@r22, I think Jeff is referring to the ability to split popular times by day of week in the information released by the API, not the currently existing web GUI.
Maybe the info appears as a nested object? e.g. "popular times" > "day of week" > "hour of day" > traffic count

What would you like to see us add to this API?
Break the referrerless unsigned requests when the API key being used has a referrer or an IP restriction
Issue report:
I have generated the API key for Static Map API and applied HTTP referrers in Key restrictions as per recommendations. Expected result is it should not allow API key usage outside specified website. But this is not working I can use the API with empty referrer too.

What steps will reproduce the problem? Please provide a link to a
demonstration page if at all possible, or attach code.
1. Open GCP Console
2. Create a new API key
3. Restrict the newly created API key
3.1. Set Application restrictions to HTTP referrers (web sites)
3.2. Add Website restrictions (*.
3.3. Click Save
4. Wait for 5 minutes or more
5. Send Static Maps request using the restricted API key on any browser, e.g.:
