Let's say what you intend to type is:

 android:onClick="@{() -> calc.enterDigit(7)}"

but currently all you have is

 android:onClick="@{() -> calc.enterDi<caret>}"

If you press alt+space and complete the code, you end up with:

 android:onClick="@{() -> calc.enterDigit()<caret>}"

Instead, we should end up with the caret *inside* the parentheses:

 android:onClick="@{() -> calc.enterDigit(<caret>)}"
