When using gRPC C++ client to connect a regional service, it fails authorization check. The rpc is rejected because the aud field in the JWT token does not pass the check against the service name. Currently, C++ does not have a Client Library to make this compatible.

Error received when using gRPC C++ client with a JWT:
"Request had invalid authentication credentials. Expected OAuth 2 access token, login cookie or other valid authentication credential".

This is a known issue and has been forwared to the Cloud API engineering team so that they may investigate it, but there is no ETA for a resolution at this time. Future updates regarding this issue will be provided here.
