Please add this at least to premium plans. I'm currently on a premium plan but unable to use it because I do not have an "Asset tracking" plan. When I tryed to purchase such plan, the representative said that they where no longer available. So the current status is that this feature is absolutly forbidden to any new customer.
Please look into this.
Thanks in advance, Federico.

It's been two month since the last Google reply, can we get an update on the status?

I am in pursuit of getting the Speed API since little over three months now and had several meetings with Google customer support and their trusted partners. Unfortunately, none of them were successful in making the Speed API available to me. My last hope is to vote this issue and follow up on any progress that may occur. Unfortunately, waiting is my only option!

This is ridiculous...its on the pricing page user roads API as a per request charge...why would be it disabled?

As a developer, it'd be a cool feature and I don't mind having limited #of API calls for testing purposes.
It's hard to pitch this to management if we can't even prototype something

How long does it take to make a decision? This seems to be the issue with more votes for the Roads API and it's been open for more than 3 years...
It's doesn't even seem like a feature request, but rather one where permissions need to be revised.
