GCP HTTP load balancer log messages have a field "remoteIP" which includes the IP of a request from which the identity of the requester can be deduced. Storing these is a problem in any country governed by GDPR.
Is it possible to truncate or randomize the final two characters in the IPAddress ("remoteIP" field) for each entry in the log?
If this is not possible, is there a way to remove that field from the logs?
Business impact for users: Security reasons, customer doesn't want to be able to identify individuals, so would prefer to omit this information.
