I suspect that this is a return of the issue described at https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/129591245
The issue appeared fixed for a few days from Tue May 21, but it appears to be back again.

Thanks for reporting this issue. I've been able to replicate it and have reported it to the engineering team. At the moment there are no known workarounds for the developer using the API.
jo...@gmail.com <jo...@gmail.com> #4
Any update on this? None of the tasks I created through the app are appearing on my Google Calendar.
gi...@gmail.com <gi...@gmail.com> #5
I have the same probem. Using CalenGoo with Google tasks API, I cannot see tasks created or modified in Google Calendar in it. It's very annoying because what I see in calendar is not what I see in Calengoo on my smartphone. I can confirm that some days ago everything was working fine.
ek...@google.com <ek...@google.com> #6
No updates at this time.

I can confirm the issue. Please fix it. Thank you.

Same issue, makes Google calendar unusable. Please fix/put back to the way it was a week ago
wh...@gmail.com <wh...@gmail.com> #11
I'm sure this issue must be affecting a great many people and has been ongoing for about a week now.
It makes any kind of Tasks interaction though Google's APIs completely counter-productive.
Can you not just roll this feature back to the version that was working a couple of weeks ago while you work on a long-term fix?
You must surely be using some version control software that should make such a change quick and easy.

Agreed - do a rollback. Also it seems that minimal testing should have caught this before it went to production.
bo...@gmail.com <bo...@gmail.com> #13
Come on Google!! This should be an easy fix.
If you click on the Task icon in the right hand margin, all the tasks are synced and shown correctly. They just don't show up on any of the calendar views.

If someone is using CalenGoo for IOS or Android, he can give a try to the Windows/macOS version of it. If google doesn't fix the bug or rollback the version, we can react that way. Google is not the only solution in the world.

I have Google Tasks Import users complaining about this. At least one business is now seriously considering moving to another platform because they feel that they cannot rely on Google Tasks.

The last comment from Google was over a week ago. What venues are available to get some more traction on this bug?
sl...@gmail.com <sl...@gmail.com> #17
I've been adding my tasks using Tasks: Astrid To-Do List Clone app for years. I have the app set on default to also add the tasks as a calendar event to my Google calendar. All of a sudden last week, all my events created through task are not on my calendar anymore. Is this going to be fix?
ec...@gmail.com <ec...@gmail.com> #18
is there a web version of calengoo?
ju...@gmail.com <ju...@gmail.com> #19
My tasks are now appearing at the top of Google Calendar
wh...@gmail.com <wh...@gmail.com> #20
Confirmed, it would appear that this issue has now been resolved.
ca...@gmail.com <ca...@gmail.com> #21
Yes. Working perfectly again. Thank you developers.
d....@googlemail.com <d....@googlemail.com> #22
Yes, it seems to work correctly again for me, too. Thank you for fixing it! :-)
ma...@danklein.net <ma...@danklein.net> #23
Based on the comments above (and my own experience) this issue appears to have been resolved.
wh...@gmail.com <wh...@gmail.com> #24
It would appear that this problem has resurfaced again (barely a week since it was fixed).
If I update a Task via the Tasks API (due date or completed status) this is not reflected onhttp://calendar.google.com
Oddly, Tasks that are newly created via the Tasks API do seem to appear on the corresponding Google Calendar.

ju...@gmail.com <ju...@gmail.com> #25
It appears to be working for me. If I change the due date of a task in
CalenGoo on Android, I can see the task move to the new date in Google
Calendar within a few seconds. If I mark a task complete in CalenGoo on
Android, the task is marked as completed in Google Calendar within a few
seconds.

My apologies.
It looks like this is actually a problem with the GTasks app.
I'll report the issue with their developers.
I have a command-line script to update tasks in bulk using the Tasks API and that is working just fine.
I should have taken the time to test this before posting above.

Hello,
This issue has been fixed. Tasks inserted or edited via Tasks API are displayed correctly in Google Calendar.
Kind regards.
Description
Steps to reproduce:
1. Set the due date of a task via the Google Tasks API.
2. Open
3. Change the due date of the task on
4. The task is correctly displayed in the calendar views on its due date.
