Description
Users would like to a) receive a warning or b)be unable to create GCE instances with a boot disk >2TB. As any disk size bigger than that is unable to use the extra allocated space due to the MBR partition type[1].
Business impact for users: users are currently able to create a boot disk which has space that cannot be used by the default MBR partition type. This leads to unusable resources.
Task the customer wishes to accomplish: Users would like to be forbidden from creating this kind of configuration or receive a warning.
Current functionality if applicable: Anyone can create a GCE instance with a >2TB disk. Any allocation above those 2TB will not be used, as it is a hard limit on MBR. Once created, the disk cannot be reduced.
Current customer workaround(s): None.
