# It is OK to share your API Project ID, but _not_ API keys.

In the Google elevation API response, there is a "resolution" element.
This is the horizontal distance (raster distance) to the nearest points in the Google database.
What is still unclear and should be made part of the response is
a bound on the resulting vertical error (towards earth surface)
as best known by data provider.
