Happened right after the December update with the many changes to wireless charging, so my guess is it is related to one of those changes:
Battery & Power
Additional improvements for battery charging information shown in notification shade *[4].
General improvements for battery & thermal performance in certain conditions *[7].
General improvements for wireless charging in certain conditions *[5].
Improvements for alignment detection on Pixel Stand in certain conditions *[5].
Fix for issues occasionally causing incorrect Battery usage accounting to display in Settings *[7].
Tried another Qi certified charger of a co-worker (dont know the model), but behaviout was exactly the same: wireless charging turning off and on again every few seconds and therefore not charging at all.

I've never had this issue. i have a nanami wireless. I set it down on top of it and move it till i see the blue light come on and walk away. I also have a full leather body case which does not present an issue. I have a 2020 Kia Sorrento and it has wireless charging and it also works flawlessly.

Having the same issue with the Pixel 6 Pro & Pixel Stand 2. Google sent me a replacement Pixel Stand 2 (no luck) and then replaced my full price Pixel 6 Pro with a refurbished Pixel 6 Pro (worth about $300 according to Google - nice one Google #Iseewhatyoudidthere).
None of these options fixed the issue. Now I have a phone worth 1/3 of the price I paid for it and still getting the errors: Connected (Not Charging) and the red text Readjust Your Phone for Faster Charging.
No fast charging to be had. Takes hours and hours to get from 0 to 35-40. Seems to speed up after that but still crazy. Most nights, after an 8 hour sleep, my phone is only up to 70% or so.
Really sad.

Wireless charging was working fine on my Pixel 4 but since last Android 12 update around the 5 of March 2022 (SP2A.220305.012) it stops working on two different recharge station. I have done the following test:
Reboot the Pixel 4 and place it on my wireless recharge station (no recharge)
Remove my case and reboot (no recharge)
Boot in safe mode (no recharge)
Finally, add an external USB C wireless module and back on the wireless recharge station (Charging)
The stations are working fine but for a reason, the internal wireless stop working after the update.
How to test the internal wireless recharging unit?

I started having this problem with my Pixel 6 Pro (with Pixel Stand 2) a few days ago. Even after March Update & latest Beta it didnt fix the issue. My Stand charge without an issue on my Pixel 4 XL though.
ka...@gmail.com <ka...@gmail.com> #19
Another thing I just found out: I borrowed a co-workers QI-Charger and connected the Pixel Stand 2s power supply and another 15W power supply, both times the issue with wireless charging turning off and on again appeared. However, when I connected my co-workers Qi-Charger to my notebook (USB 3.0A port) wireless charging would work continously. So it seems to me, that the issue is with the maximum power the power supply can deliver and ther Pixel having issues with negotiating how much power to use maybe.

User here, I've owned my Pixel 6 Pro from launch with absolutely zero issues and after the big March update my phone will not wirelessly charge nor will it even battery share (Feature will not turn on) and I'm just shocked that an update would do this.
to...@gmail.com <to...@gmail.com> #21
Pixel 6 Pro, wireless charging has worked for me throughout as far as I know. Only typically use wireless when charging at night when sleeping. Wake up to a full charge at the least. Issue I experience in February and March updates, especially after March update, is the message to realign for better charging. Happens regardless of how many times I take off the dock and reposition. Used to have a margin of error without issue. Requires removing for period of time and then attempting again. Sometimes needing to be done multiple times. Or ignore it like I usually resort to.
dg...@google.com <dg...@google.com> #22
I am also experiencing intermittent issues with wireless charging on my Pixel 6 Pro on a Gen 1 Pixel Stand. Overnight charging seems fine, as my phone is at 100% when my alarm goes off, but when placed on the stand during the day, the phone will often indicate “Not Charging.” Picking up and immediately re-placing the phone on the stand does not remedy the issue. I am currently charging via the USB-C wired connection due to wireless not working.

I was told by Google to take my phone to ubreakifix to repair. I live in a big socal city with 8+ locations and called every single one within 50 miles of me and same story. They cannot order the part to repair the wireless charging, I guess the next step is to send it to google to fix. Mine won't wireless charge off anything (2 pixel gen 1 stands, 1 pixel stand gen 2 (valentines gift), off brand wireless charger and a anker battery pack with a wireless charger on top. It blinks like it is charging and shuts off immediately. Not even on long enough to sync it and setup the google pixel stand software.
I had perfect charging off my pixel gen 2 stand for exactly one month and all wireless charging died on march 14th. Phone is in flawless shape, never dropped, no cracks or dings, use a google case but no difference without a case. I was holding out on the March update to fix my problems but it did nothing.
I bought 3 pixel 6's for my family and mine is the only one with this problem. Really frustrated and would love to get this resolved. Will contact support tomorrow but hoping the turn around is fast as I can't be without my phone for work/life purposes.

Since performing the new March update, I have noticed that my PIxel 6 Pro is not fully charging overnight using wireless adaptive charging. Further, the phone is getting quite hot from the charging (more than I have noticed before). The charge is only getting the battery up to 70-75% by the time my alarm goes off. Please address this issue.

+1 since the March update. My P6PRO gets extremely hot on my Pixel Stand, charges ~10% per hour at most. Took it off the Pixel stand yesterday after it was on for several hours and it was not even charging and extremely hot. Just sent a feedback after removing it from the Pixel Stand and it was extremely hot and had only gained 10-20% after nearly 2 hours. This has never been the case. I've owned this P6P since launch and been using my Pixel stand to charge it with very little issues the whole time. Usually will charge 40%+ in an hour. I haven't honestly paid close attention but definitely noticing some very alarming things after the already delayed March update

The Pixel 6 used to charge normally on my older Samsung wireless charger and now it doesn't do anything (rebooting doesn't help either)
On the Pixel stand it's more of a coin flip if it works or not but it seems more to drain the battery than charge it.

Same problem on my Pixel 6 Pro. Details are:
1. Wireless charging worked normally until installation QPR3 update (now on QPR3 1.1, no improvement.) Current build is S3B1.220218.006
2. Problem has been verified with both a Pixel Stand 2 and a Belkin Qi charger (Belkin charger is marked as Google compatible.) There are no issues with wired charging.
3. On occasion the phone will charge wirelessly for a short period of time, then stop. At other times the phone will not charge at all. I have been unable to determine why wireless charging works on rare occasions, nor have I determined how to jog the unit to a working state.
4. In all cases the phone indicates that it is connected to a charger, and the charger indicates a phone is present. The charger and phone get warm but no charge current is flowing.
5. Restarting or power-cycling the phone does not cure the problem, nor does clearing the Pixel Stand 2 app cache or re-installing the app.
6. Note: Google CS has offered to RMA the charging stand and/or phone but since the problem exists with multiple charging stands and began with a specfic firmware update then it is obvioulsy unlikely to be a hardware issue. CS should be made aware of this issue so as to avoid unecessary RMAs for users reporting this problem.

Plagued by this issue on a name brand Samsung Qi charger and a no-name Qi charger which both work flawlessly with other phones. I have a Pixel 6 Pro and my wife has a Pixel 6. Both exhibit the same issue.
js...@gmail.com <js...@gmail.com> #43
Precisely the same issue as those noted above. Phone constantly (without case) states (on Pixel Stand 2) to realign device for faster charging (red text in ambient mode). The phone then goes to 'Connected, Not Charging' and continues to drain battery. Sometimes, if I place the phone left of centre, it says charging but gives exhorbitant ETAs til 100% - like 14 hours, etc. Other times, if I'm lucky, the adaptive charging kicks in and the phone says it will be full by 'alarm time'. However, 95% of the time, the phone ends up at 60-75% by alarm time (6-8 hours later).
I had my brand new $899 Pixel 6 Pro replaced with a refurbished Pixel 6 Pro valued at $363.00 (yes, seriously; this is actually direct from Google's admission also). So I've already lost $536.00 on this and no change in phone behaviour.

I've noticed my P6 Pro would stop charging once the device temperature has reach 40°C or more. After it cools down a bit it would go back charging.
This happens regardless of wirelessly charging or plugged in. Though I have notice by plugging it in, sometimes it doesn't care about the temperature and will just charge at a slow speed.

I have noticed that when wireless charging halts it seems to be associated with either user interaction with the phone while on the stand, or even if the phone was idle but a notification arrived. If I place the phone in airplane mode (to prevent any notification activity) and leave the phone completely untouched during the charging process then charging will complete without interruption. It appears that wake activity (including notifications) can cause an interruption to charging, but with the phone as idle as possible and in airplane mode then no charging interruptions seem to occur.
In testing thus far my track record is that with any user or notification activity charging drop-out will occur virtually 100% of the time, and with the phone in airplane mode it has never occurred, so the behavior seems to be consistent. Testing was with a Pixel Stand 2.

Last beta update broke my wireless charging. I have submitted a bug report. Tried everything including, uninstalling updates to digital wellbeing, clock, etc and even a factory reset. It sometimes works with phone off or safe mode ( maybe one out of 10 times) for at least a short while (haven't left it going more then a minute or two). I have 4 different brand chargers and two other family members who have no issues ( no on beta though). Team is welcome to contact me for additional information if needed to help resolve this.

I've only started having issues with wireless charging on my Pixel 6 Pro since the 4/5/2022 update. More specifically, there's been a couple nights this past week where it does not completely charge my phone despite sitting on the Google Pixel Stand (1st Gen) all night.
