You can create a custom role instead and assign required permission to the role then please ask your project owner / Organization admin to remove the editor role and assign a new role to your user account.

I am "Editor Role" in the project and is not owner, i want to leave the project but I can not do this action .
I can not contact to project owner, It seems they don't work anymore, they do not active or they do not use email.
