Hmm I'm not able to reproduce this anymore. I'm not sure what changed. Maybe the old build cache caused some issues. But after doing a clean & build, I am not seeing this.

This is a reference to the class foo.Bar, but notice how the editor doesn't complain -- the way it normally does if you for example reference a missing class from a manifest android:name attribute.
