I'm also very interested in having this extension in cloudsql for postgres since it's blocking the emigration of one of ours databases

+1 to voting for the ip4r extension. Currently not supported in Cloud SQL and we make use of it.
Description
Many customs want to migrate MySQL to GCP,
so they can take benefit with less downtime and auto failover with HA configuration.
CloudSQL can easily add read replica with few clicks,
there is a pain point people really want a L4 or L7 load balancing feature of Read Replicas
which RDS not implement yet could be a strong motivation.
Any thoughts?
