- Summary: The Apps Script project is unexpectedly requesting the
script.container.ui
authorization scope when the word 'show' is present in a comment andSpreadsheetApp.getActive()
is invoked. This behavior is unexpected and should be investigated. - Tags:

Hi everyone, we are looking at some of the issues open from the last years and this issue came under our radar. We are working to replicate the deleted projects still persisting error and will work with the associated teams to come up with a solution.

The deleted projects are not visible in the Actions Console with me, the problem can be found within the google home app:
(all versions from the beginning of this case, so you can track it, it's like 4 years ago? ;) )
I still see all my deleted projects in the current Google Home version, here is how I can see them:
Open google home app
press + sign in upper left area
select "Set up device"
select "Works with google"
And see in the list with available items:
-[test] deleted project 1
-[test] deleted project 2
-[test] deleted project 3
-[test] deleted project 4
-[test] deleted project 5
-[test] Jarvis
-[test] letmetestthisone
Those are pretty old, I'm talking about years old.
Don't know where the google home app is syncing this list from, but obviously the source is unreliable.
But, I can very well be that there are snippets of the projects left somewhere, where they shouldn't.
That's for google to find out I guess ;)

1. Create a home with account A and invite account B
2. Create a test integration with B
3. Google Home app shows the integration of B for A
4. Remove account B as a member in home using Account A (you will receive an error message saying something went wrong. Try the same again and it works.)
5. Google Home app even with cache cleared will still try to connect to integration B using Account A
In this case, Nest Home and all other Google Home apps still trying to reach out to the integration from B even when using Account A. But it even does not show up anymore in the list. This is still true when B deleted the project integration from the action console. You will get the feedback that it cannot reach the non-existing integration. Well ... Of course it cannot. As it does not exist anymore...

Hi,
We followed up with internal teams to roll out an update to fix the issue. Can you please go through Actions on Google Home Console (

The projects are not showing up on the actions console (
I don't see my one project on the new console (
But more importantly the old projects still show up in the Google Home app. I cleared the cache and storage on the app twice and logged back in, added a devices, picked "Works with Google", and the projects still appear in the long list of services to integrate.
ta...@gmail.com <ta...@gmail.com> #39
Yes!
I can confirm also that the problem is still alive. Actions console only have my currently active and thus only one project. The new Google - Home console simply does not have anything (nor my active project which is available in Actions console). Meanwhile my Google - Home Android app shows all my old, and already deleted projects also.

What's worse is that I think there is a device stuck from one of the old test apps that was removed linked to my account. So every time I "sync my devices", there is a no name device that Google constantly reminds me is "Unavailable".

Hi all,
Thank you for highlighting this issue. The issue still persists—deleted cloud-to-cloud integration projects are still listed in Google Home App > Works with Google Home > Home control list. I have escalated this to our internal team and will update this thread once a solution is available. We apologize for the inconvenience.

From which Google account do I see the deleted project? ohan.melkonyan@gmail.com
From other account which I didn't connect to the deleted project, do I see the project, too? I don't see the projects I am having issues with from my second google account.
Any other information that might help you to understand the problem: The projects appeared first when I created them from Google Actions expectantly. Some have been deleted successfully but several ones still persist in the Google Home app even after a longer time span of several months. I don't see references to these projects from any developer page of Google
