We've added a DialogFragment(@LayoutRes) constructor and it'll be available in Fragment 1.3.0-alpha02.
Note that subclasses of DialogFragment (such as BottomSheetDialogFragment) will need to be updated to depend on Fragment 1.3.0-alpha02 and add a constructor themselves before you'll be able to use it in those cases. You'd want to file a feature request against them.
Description
Would it be possible to add the possibility to pass to DialogFragment constructor the layout resource just like it is possible with regular Fragments ?
