Description
Problem you have encountered:
Cloud SQL imports are using a single thread-core to perform imports, which imitates the ability to use a heavier load over the higher disks that Cloud SQL can use.
What you expected to happen:
Being able to indicate the amount of threads to be used in the import task.
Other information (workarounds you have tried, documentation consulted, etc):
MySQL supports to indicate to the mysqlimport command the amount of threads by the flag --use-threads=N [1].
