According to the specs secondary should be used for
* - Floating action buttons
* - Selection controls, like sliders and switches
* - Highlighting selected text
* - Progress bars
* - Links and headlines
We currently use primary for some of them

1. Have you saw crash in real device or only in simulators?
2. Do you use dynamic feature for language ID?
