With the new the ActivityResult APIs introduced in the Androidx Activity 1.2.0-alpha02 release, there is now a more preferred method of passing results between ComponentActivity and any classes that implement ComponentActivity.

We should deprecate the inherited APIs and point developers to use registerForActivityResult passing in the appropriate ActivityResultContract.
