As stated in the Docs [1], "The dev_appserver tool does not support development of Python 3 apps on Windows."
This causes inconvenience to people who would like to develop Python 3 App Engine apps on Windows.
The dev_appserver should support Python 3 on Windows

The engineering team is aware of this request and they are currently working on it. However, there are no ETA or guarantee of implementation.

Given that Google has officially deprecated Python 2, this means that Google is not offering any supported Windows development environment. How can you leave windows developers with no options?
