Problem you have encountered:

We're a fintech based in Sydney  and we're exploring moving to AppEngine for company infra but can't move region nor delete default instance...


What you expected to happen:


Created appengine instance in us-west-1 but then wanted to stand up in australia-1 due to horrendous latency.
Expected to move the instance or at least be able to disable>delete and recreate but worse, I have to delete the entire project and create it fresh losing LBs, databases and everything.

Create AppEngine instance in one region.
Try to get it setup in new region without
