If the user has granted the ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION permission to your app, the service can access location all the time. Otherwise, if the user has granted the ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION or ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION permission to your app, the service has while-in-use access to location.

However, there is no canonical definition of "while-in-use", particularly for a service, as it has no UI. Does "while-in-use" mean:

• While the service is not destroyed?
• While the process is running?
• For one minute from the point in time the UI moves to the background?
• Something else?

I recommend updating this documentation to provide more clarity on the duration.
