tried to use preview panel provider (javafx webview) but it is unavailable

I happened to be looking at a readme file and it said that an extension was available, and it asked me to install an extension for markdown files.  It wound up asking for some kind of licensing thing, which I declined.  And it turns out that there some cost associated with this plugin.  So I just want it gone but I can't remove it completely.  Now my Android studio always starts with this error about the preview panel provider.  How can I get rid of this error?
