To label any GCP resource that can be labelled, the user has to use the respective APIs made for that particular resource and the cloud resource manager can label only projects.

Requesting a single API end point to label any type of eligible resource/asset on GCP.

Right now, the Cloud asset API can list all the resources and their information (say Labels), but it can not label any of the resources. Instead of having to switch between and use respective individual resource labelling APIs, a central API to label any type of eligible resource/asset is very much needed.

One more detail, Data Layer event calls from the watch to the phone (running Android 13) do work on if the listener is in an Activity or Fragment.
