Problem you have encountered:

The Hungarian language only has one third person singular pronoun, Ő. Translations with this pronoun demonstrate a serious gender bias within the translate API.

Stereotypically male characteristics and job roles are translated as he, and stereotypically female characteristics are translated as she. Obviously translating from a non-gendered pronoun to a gendered pronoun is difficult, but the obvious bias shown in the model that chooses which gender to use is very concerning.

What you expected to happen:

Translation of third person singular pronoun statements from Hungarian to English, or other languages with gendered pronouns, would return either all words translated with one pronoun, two translations, one with each gender, both pronouns together (s/he, il/elle etc,) or two versions, one with each, or even a random assignment of genders. From a user perspective I think two versions would be easiest to remove the gender bias, whilst maintaining the integrity of the translation (s/he could be confusing to non-english speakers.)

Steps to reproduce:

When using the Translate Web UI, translating a single phrase "Ő szép" or "Ő okos" correctly identifies that that the pronoun is non-gendered and offers both, as explained in the page linked above, but this is lost when translating longer text and genders are assigned to the words. This functionality is also not available in the translate API (v2 or v3).
