Does the app compile? Is it just an IDE error?

(And if possible can you share a simple project or repro steps?)

Thank you so much for sharing the sample project! I'll try to look later this week, after I get through my current workload.

What a great sample project.
I see what's going on and already have a local fix proof of concept. I just need to clean it up, add tests, and get it reviewed. I estimate it will still be a few weeks before the fix will land in canary, but since your repro project was so good, I just wanted to give you an early heads up :)

I believe this fix should land in the first version of the canary for the version following 2020.3.1, not exactly sure when that will land at this point.
