What you would like to accomplish:

I'd like to be able to select what users automatically get notified for errors popping up in a GCP project. Additionally, I'd like to be able to notify a Slack channel, or send an email to a group.


How this might work:
Having an API that does CRUD operations on recipients for Error Reporting alerts. That could then be hooked into via Terraform


If applicable, reasons why alternative solutions are not sufficient:
Currently, the only way to opt into error reporting is to go to the error reporting screen and manually click 'turn on'. A lot of our customers don't know error reporting even exists since it's a unique GCP service.

Other information (workarounds you have tried, documentation consulted, etc):
https://cloud.google.com/error-reporting/docs/notifications doesn't have any mention of the automation, or plans for it.
