A project I contribute to also hits this problem.
In our case, the
CXX1409 ... expected buildFiles file ... to exist
message occurs when our continuous integration (running buildbot) switches between git commits and the switched-to commit is missing cmake files (e.g. .cmake or .txt) which existed on the previously-built checkout. The error persists and causes a build failure until the builder intermediate files are manually deleted. As a workaround we are downgrading AGP.

Just wanted to point out that it causes persistent build failure, as "does not build ... incrementally" wasn't really clear to me. (Thanks a lot for filing this issue, though!)

Re add this as was it originally available in Android 11 and not like on previous Android 12 Developer Preview

My family and friends want this back. Hiding battery usage would be bad for google as there should be nothing to hide about what's using the battery.

This should be no-brainer for Google. Just add this data back and show how proud people can be using Android. There's nothing to hide. It'll only cause suspicions out of nowhere! Don't be stupid, Googlers!

Android battery menu should be headed in the opposite direction that is going.

It should be a menu that shows you every single app consuming battery, and not just the apps that consume 1.0% or more battery.

Where you can track all the little apps that you are probably not using and are still consuming together a nice 10-30% of standby battery life.

Definitely not a menu that doesn't even show you the Screen on time!

I tend to charge my Pixel 5 every 2 or 3 days, and the battery menu now is useless without SoT and that message that says "View usage for past 24 hours".

Please revert battery usage to android 11 style. It should actually be more detailed then android 11. Not less detail

Android battery data has been moving in the wrong direction for years. Before nougat or Oreo, there used to be bars beneath the battery graph detailing when certain radios like wifi or Bluetooth, etc were on, the strength of the cell tower signal, and other useful information.

Gradually, information has been removed from the battery settings page, and the line on the graph was also thickened, which makes it more difficult to discern the slope of the graph and where/when the slope of the graph changes.

Same issue here. I'd be fine with making it a bit more difficult to get to so that it doesn't bother the average user, but I think even the average user would care about this.

Changing it to "screen usage in last 24 hours" is not what anyone is asking
for. We're asking for the screen time since last charge.

As of beta 3.1, this issue is not fixed. The SOT shown in the battery settings is over the last 24 hours, which is not a helpful metric. That information can be found under Digital Wellbeing.

Please re-add the statistic of SOT since last full charge.
