IMPORTANT: Please read
The most recent update to Android Studio can lock the keyboard when entering code that does not parse with expected patterns. It then becomes almost impossible to get Android Studio to allow editing the code block being worked on.
I would like to suggest that if Android Studio does not find a match within say 3 seconds, to disable the AI type-ahead while the editor is working on that line of code. That way the developer will be able to fix the line without fighting Android Studio for control.
