Hello, just to complement, we are using Akamai CDN and we are trying to get the customer IP on the GCP External Load Balancer via X-Forwarded-For, but it is not possible to get the info in the logs
Description
This will create a public issue which anybody can view and comment on.
Customer has a setup where they're using Cloudflare to protect their sites, and Stackdriver is showing these Cloudflare IPs in the "remoteIp" field. However, they're currently required to retain the true source IP. They're currently sending this information in the X-Forwarded-For field, but it does not seem like Stackdriver can take in this information.
Is there a way for users to record specific request fields, or take in the raw header for logging purposes? If not, is it worth developing this capability?
