Hello Daniel,
I have forwarded your feature request to the Engineering Team, and they will look into it. I can't guarantee that it's going to be implemented, as it depends on the number of customers that want this feature, but all the updates on this will be shared here. Unfortunately, I can't give you an ETA either.
I hope that helps,
Alejandro

Description
Please provide as much information as possible. At least, this should include a description of your issue and steps to reproduce the problem. If possible please provide a summary of what steps or workarounds you have already tried, and any docs or articles you found (un)helpful.
Problem you have encountered:
I want to save queries/DML instructions on a dataset level instead to my user level or project level.
What you expected to happen:
On datasets you could have: tables, views and functions but not queries/DML, I would love to have queries tied to the dataset.
Steps to reproduce:
Go to bigquery UI
Write any query and click "save" then "save query"
You could save the query to the user level or project level but I would like to select also a dataset, so in the dataset list I see the query.
Other information (workarounds you have tried, documentation consulted, etc):
On dataset level is handful to have queries/DML associated with the dataset, I have more than 80 datasets so saved queries is kind of broad, if I would put in the dataset they work with that would be extremely handy.
