Please describe your requested enhancement. Good feature requests will solve common problems or enable new use cases.
What you would like to accomplish:
Use Workload Identity Federation in authentication between services.
How this might work:
The following page describes how to create and authenticate a JWT with a service account key, but the service account key has a security risk.
If we can use tokens that can be issued by Workload Identity Federation, we can create an API for secure linkage between services.
If applicable, reasons why alternative solutions are not sufficient:
