This will create a feature request which anybody can view and comment on. Please describe your requested enhancement. Good feature requests will solve common problems or enable new use cases. What you would like to accomplish: When trying to write logs of the Vertex AI custom containers on Cloud Logging, the priority is either INFO or ERROR, not reporting correctly the right severity of the log. How this might work: The logs should always reflect the right severity in Cloud Logging as it happens, for instance, when using a Notebook. If applicable, reasons why alternative solutions are not sufficient: Managing model logs can be time costly without the right severity being reported, and the alerts based on errors are difficult to configure. This makes troubleshooting any issue that might arise when using the product not straightforward.

did the team did some roll out to fix this issue ? python logging is now crashing with grpc permission errors

I can confirm that the grpc permission errors issue is not related to any change/roll-out that the Product Team have made. Additionally, I would like to share that there is not current ETA for the implementation of this Feature Request.

Debugging not possible atm because logging is not dosplayed properly. Please fix
