Artifact used: androidx.core:core-splashscreen:1.0.0-alpha01 Version used: 1.0.0-alpha01 Theme used:

Devices/Android versions reproduced on: emulator with android 12 and android 6

When using the library, the splash icon looks quite different on:

Android 12 - the icon is enlarged and cropped by circle
Lower versions - icon is used as is

It would be nice to have same size of icon when using the library.

Or when changing to textView.textMetricsParamsCompat still crash.
