Component used: Navigation Version used: Alpha08 Devices/Android versions reproduced on: Android Version 30, Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus

Steps to reproduce:

Run the code present in the Sample Repo
Uncomment the lines underneath the TODO in MainActivity in the NavGraph composable
The application will crash with the following error

You cannot access the NavBackStackEntry's ViewModels until it is added to the NavController's back stack (i.e., the Lifecycle of the NavBackStackEntry reaches the CREATED state)

Oh I forgot to mention that I thought it might be connected to this issue: https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/243778589. But after trying 2.5.2 I can say that the issue persists.
