We are launching this on iOS and Android. iOS works nicely but Android users cannot get real-time location due to this issue and we'd love to give them a better experience with this fix.

Any update on this issue? Is there a possibility BLE usage will be available on instant apps in the future?
mo...@gmail.com <mo...@gmail.com> #6
Hi ra...@ - is there any update on whether this feature will be introduced in the future or if it still blocked? Like the others, we also would like to use this functionality and have a working iOS App Clips implementation with Bluetooth but are blocked on Android because of this issue.

Hi - is there any update on this issue? We are unable to launch our instant experience on Android due to this limitation. Any progress is much appreciated.

Hi is there any update on this issue ? We are providing indoor navigation visually impaired and blind, and this is very important for them to use the solution without downloading the app. It will enhance the experience. Thanks.

Here another vote for this feature. We're developing access solutions using BLE locks. We can only give the desired experience to iPhone users (through app clips). We are blocked by this Android limitation.

Hello, any update on this topic?

Hello!
I agree this is one major downside to using instant app. We have seen alot of people dont know even that there is such a flag and we dont have a way to trigger the permission asking.
So it defeats the purpose of the feature if most people dont know it exists or requires.
Instant app should be enabled to all users by default and be an opt out option or there should bne a way to prompt enabling this each time user opens links.
There is no way for us to tell to the user what to do without having a guide where and what to enable, but this already defeats insant apps purpose.

I completely agree on the last comment. Instant App is such a great feature but almost nobody can actually use it in practice. Our business case is primarily executed via Instant App (Android) and App Clip (iOS). On iOS adoption rate is around 95%, for Android - 10%. So Android users either have to download full app or simply don't use the service at all because of the friction that full app download implies.

Hey we have the same problem. Is there any updates on this issue?

We are affected as well :( A way to achieve behavior such as the App clips would be amazing

We are affected as well. It is very sad that there is so much quality difference between the App clips and Instant apps. Please provide an update and reconsider.

I've the same issue. Do you consider making an update on this?
ja...@gmail.com <ja...@gmail.com> #25
Just want to add another vote for this feature. If iOS is the only alternative, at least it is an alternative.
sh...@flamapp.com <sh...@flamapp.com> #26
any update on this, we need a way to at least know by web browser if the user have disabled instant feature and then redirect him to correct settings, if the user wants to trigger experience.
ma...@gmail.com <ma...@gmail.com> #27
Ping on this issue or anything that could be used to help users to use instant app more easily. As currently Android Instant app is very unreliable for a normal user experience.
There is no way from our side to help the user by only linking to some guide how to enable it which is very bad UX.

Description
Hi Team, I would like to discuss a scenario to solve a problem to market our instant app.
Scenario:
The documentation (https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/7240211?hl=en&ref_topic=3364261 ) says:
Now, we have many users who are not at all aware of Instant apps in Android. How to target such users to use the Instant apps?
Please let us know of any way/mechanism thru which after clicking on links, the Instant app can be launched asking to enable the option to use "Upgrade web links" in order to use the Instant apps.
