In my application I use EditText to accept only numbers. So in my layout file (.xml) I use like: android:inputType="number" android:digits="1234567890". This used to work for me until I updated to androidx.appcompat:appcompat:1.4.0. Due to this issue I switched back to androidx.appcompat:appcompat:1.3.1 which works fine.

Move appcompat and emoji2 to rc01

Moves resourceinspection back to alpha01 since we didn't release it and
don't need to bump the version. Pins our KAPT dependency to match the
library version.
