Hi, my name is Oscar and I am from Chile. In my company we are using Firebase hosting + API Gateway + Cloud Run + Cloud SQL instance, all of those services deployed in us-central1 region. Today, Chile region was launched (great news for us) and we were planning to move all of our services to Chile region. We realized that Cloud SQL and Cloud Run supports this new region, but we all got very sad when we saw that API Gateway was not supported in Chile

Because my company is in Chile and all of their clients are in Chile too, moving all other services to Chile region and not API gateway would be a problem because of the latency added in the process. For example: User Browser (Chile) -> API Gateway (US-central1) -> Cloud Run (Chile) -> DB (Chile) and all the way around (you see the problem)?

So please, it will great if you add Chile region to API gateway service, so we can move all of our services and databses to the country and then accomplish with the local regulations for data treatment.

I tried to reproduce this issue at my end. However, I am getting the intended behavior. Please check the official documentation referring configuration for the Oauth ClientID for Web applications.Also I would suggest you have a look at the validation rules for Authorized JavaScript origin mentioned.
